...as documented in my phone.
Met up with some darling cousins at Pike Place and enjoyed the view of Mt. Rainier over the stadiums where this game was happening at Safeco Field.
Tulip season at Pike Place. Unbelievable.
Molly Moon's salted caramel ice cream in homemade waffle cones. I love when Taylor suggests getting a treat. It happens maybe once every other year (no exaggeration).
We drove up to quaint little Edmonds (15 minutes north of Seattle) to enjoy the 70-degree weather.
You can't go to Edmonds without stopping by Rick Steves' headquarters. A sight to behold.
This window made us laugh so hard.
We decided that we're going to retire in Edmonds and live in this house.
Never mind that it's across the street from Puget Sound and overlooks
27 weeks! I keep telling the little Mr. to go OUT and not UP and INSIDE my ribcage. Ouch.
Less than 3 months to go!

Last weekend we went to the Tulip Festival in Skagit County (about an hour north of Seattle). I wanted to go so badly last year, but as April 2011 was the coldest and wettest on record, we never found a weekend with good enough weather.
There were fields and fields full of daffodils and tulips, and incredible old barns.
There are Russians wherever we go. Seriously! Unfortunately these ones couldn't read the signs posted around the fields.
Robin + Christian were our Tulip Festival experts (they go every year!). They showed us where to get the best kettle corn, homemade ice cream, and delicious sandwiches.
'Twas fun, though Taylor was really mad that we missed the Tulip Frolic.

The Easter bunny opted for an Easter plate this year. At least it was Russian...
Taylor didn't have any meetings Sunday morning, so it was so nice to have time to make breakfast together, read the scriptures, and reflect on the miracle of Easter, all before church! Can't every Sunday be like that?
Taylor requested banana caramel bread pudding for breakfast. Recipe here.
Easter dinner in Issaquah with Uncle Don & Aunt Madelyn (Grandma Lewis' sister) and the Pronk family (second cousins?). YUMMY.
Last Easter as a family of two!
25 weeks down. 15 to go. We went to an actual baby store other than Land of Nod (heaven) this weekend. Oh goodness.
